Counselling

Available for those who parent alone, and their youth aged 7-18 years.

We provide a safe space to hear your story, in confidence, without judgement. Therapy styles are tailored to each client, even adapted if required, to help reach goals. Together, we can: process emotions; navigate barriers; establish strategies.

Subsidised Fee – $15 incl GST. Per person, per hour (Standard Fee $65 incl GST) – First session free.
Staff can discuss funding eligibility, eg WINZ disability allowance, ACC Sensitive Claims or external agencies.

Social Work

Our team offer a free service & guide you with practical solutions. We can also connect you with external agencies for more specialised assistance.

ACC Counselling

Through the Sensitive Claims Service, we provide support for anyone in Kirikiriroa, including visitors to the country, who has experienced sexual abuse or assault in New Zealand.  ACC can fund therapy and other support services.

As a therapy provider, we can assist you with lodging a claim and informing ACC of your engagement with us.

Groups

Group work is often a good way to grow your social supports, meet new people, share experiences and develop new skills.

PHO Counselling

The Primary Mental Health Brief Intervention Service provides support for individuals that experience mild to moderate mental health issues. If eligible, any Pinnacle practice in Waikato can refer for this service.  Youth can be referred by school counsellors and school-based nurses.

This Package of Care provides four counselling sessions over a 12-week period.
